Please note there are multiple positions available, and the shifts have not yet been determined. Must be open to working any shifts (7 days a week, day or swing shift) This is a contract position lasting 1 year, with potential to extend up to 3 years.

Duties

·  Perform routine and semi-routine work that supports QC operations
·  Perform routine and semi-routine assignments, including but not limited to:
·  Sampling and testing of utility systems (Color, Appearance, Odor, TOC, Conductivity, Bioburden, Endotoxin, Particulates and Moisture), facility monitoring (viable monitoring plates and non-viable particulate)
·  Share maintenance responsibilities with other laboratory personnel such as reagent preparation, media growth promotion, and cleaning of incubators and biosafety cabinets.
·  Perform routine lab maintenance
·  Order and maintain lab supply inventory
·  Perform routine and non-routine sample handling, including labeling and packaging for shipment as assigned
·  Resolve issues as needed with management approval
·  Adhere to GMP policies and procedures, including documentation of activities
·  Perform other duties as requested by manager to support Quality activities
·  Position may involve use of reagents and other chemical compounds, including but not limited to acetonitrile, chlorine, acids and bases, biologic toxins, microorganisms and potent compounds
·  Position involves ~60% of time working in QC laboratory and may require lifting ~25lb, weekend work will be required.

·  Good verbal and written communication skills needed to accomplish assigned tasks
·  Ability to work under supervision to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner

Education

·  High school diploma and three years of related experience or AA degree in applicable discipline and one year of related experience
