The Roche Diagnostics Specialty Testing Solutions (STS) team is responsible for Hematology, Laboratory Coagulation and Urinalysis and is entering into a new era for both Hematology and Laboratory Coagulation testing.
With a strong foundation in Multiplate® platelet function analyzer and the cobas t 411 coagulation analyzer, in addition to Point of Care (CoaguChek), Roche has developed the cobas t 511 and cobas t 711 systems which are now (Sept 2017) commercially available in markets that recognize CE-Mark. Today's coagulation laboratories need to meet clinicians' increasing demand for fast and accurate results, whilst remaining cost effective. The new cobas coagulation analyzers from Roche address this need for greater efficiency, improved workflow, and reliable results by delivering high processing power, seamless workflow dynamics, and unique walk-away reagent management.
In addition Roche Diagnostics has acquired the Bloodhound technology and launched the cobas m 511 in 2016 which will paint a new picture for Hematology IVD. In this unique position you will be the key person to help bring this technology successfully to the Asia Pacific (APAC) market. Due to Roche strength as #1 in IVD, we are perfectly positioned in the market and in the laboratory.
We are seeking a Product Manager, Hematology & Laboratory Coagulation who will be tasked to support the market development, sales promotion support and implementation of the strategic business plan for the Hematology & Laboratory Coagulation business in the Asia Pacific region and act as the main contact for the affiliate teams on specific product management support.
You will support the Asia Pacific affiliates by providing Hematology & Laboratory Coagulation product related information and training as required and take on the role of ‘product champion'. You will also coordinate activities related to the launch and promotion of new and existing products.
You will support the Business Leader in creating key product strategic positioning in the context of the APAC market based on well understood customer needs, competitive landscape and market access dynamics.
You will participate in the development and execution of affiliate marketing plans in line with the regional and business area strategy and provide high level support to affiliates on product issues. You will also be involved in driving and coordinating the development of marketing tools, branding development and distribution of publications supporting the product key messages.
You maintain up to date knowledge of the global market for the product areas, participate in appropriate market research; monitor competitor activity and develop action to address them. You will also monitor customer requirements and contribute to product line performance and quality improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for the monitoring of sales/KPI performance and provides timely, proactive insights to the Business Leader into the business performance to facilitate real time decisions by management.
In the course of your work, you will foster relationships and the development of commercial regional key opinion leaders in collaboration with the Medical Function.
In addition, develop and facilitate cross country business communication throughout Asia Pacific region to ensure ongoing exchange of best practice sharing is utilized for internal and external purposes.
You are the conduit back to the Business Area for on-market product support and product requirements. You will manage and prioritize requirements for Hematology and Laboratory Coagulation by assessing regional market dynamics including competitive landscape and product lifecycles.
You will support the International Business Team meetings and affiliate meetings as required.
Around 30-40% travel within the region will be required for this role.

You should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. You should have at least 5 years of previous work experience, with at least 3 years in marketing, sales, and/or Key Account Management experience as well as previous global or regional experience in a large corporation would be highly desired.

You are a dynamic self-starter, with the drive and ability to achieve goals with minimal supervision. You have the ability to initiate, motivate, lead and complete projects in a highly matrix organization with no direct authority.
In addition, excellent English language skill, proficiency in MS office software programs and excellent communication skills both verbal and written are highly desirable. Proficient written and oral Mandarin will be an advantage.
