Key Areas of Responsibility

You'll be expected to:

·  Build a set of on-ramps that smoothly move customers up the learning curve. This includes everything from user guides, UI text, in-app tips, FAQs, release notes, illustrations and simple animations.
·  Become a product expert.
·  Juggle several complicated projects at once.
·  Edit and format developer-facing SDK reference documents drafted by members of the product engineering team.
·  Participate actively on project teams.
·  Create and coordinate plans and schedules with team leaders and other project members.
·  Edit the work of other tech writers.
·  Report regularly on your progress and the status of deliverables.

Skills & Experience

Required:

·  8+ years of technical writing experience, with an emphasis on creating user assistance for mobile apps.
·  Ability to quickly understand technically complex engineering and clinical workflow concepts.
·  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
·  Excellent time management and reporting skills.
·  Flexibility to cope with shifting responsibilities, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
·  Ability to work with globally distributed teams.

Desired:

·  Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
·  Experience with document and software localization.
·  Experience working in a regulated industry with defined processes (ideally, experience working in a medical device or healthcare company).
