Job Responsibilities:

·  Provide leadership and technical expertise to the US commercial, medical and government affairs teams for company's US Informatics.
·  On behalf of global biotechnology company, analyze business needs and develop comprehensive Enterprise Technical Architecture (ETA) to support major business activities.
·  Partner with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop strategies to meet architecture/technology needs and improve organizational performance, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
·  Research new and emerging technologies, processes, methodologies and practices, and evaluate the potential value of technology for use within an organization.
·  Significant contributor to business innovation
·  Analyze enterprise trends, business goals, and economic viability, and define principles to guide technology decisions for the Enterprise Technical Architecture (ETA) for assigned business area.
·  Design ETA, lead offshore development team and onsite contractors as needed to complete deliverables., and assist with developing protocols to ensure ETA compliance.
·  Serve as a technical mentor and model the expected behaviours and values for the immediate team and across the US Informatics organization as a whole
·  Provides technical support and assistance to more junior Architects.
·  Monitor and analyze current technology environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend solutions.
·  Oversee and facilitate evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, and the design of standard configuration/implementation patterns.
·  Consult on application development projects to fit systems into the technical architecture.
·  Identify organizational and financial impact of the ETA.
·  Document technical architecture design and analysis work
·  Proactively identifies gaps and bridges gaps
·  Leads from the front and champions the cause/goal for the project/program.
·  Facilitates crucial conversations.
·  Contribute to set up the Best Practices across the verticals in the organization.

Technical Skills:

·  Experience with IT reference architecture and multiple technology domains, including cloud computing, web solutions, integration, networks, systems, databases, data mining, machine learning, NLP, artificial intelligence and security
·  Strong expertise in designing and deploying ML/AI based solutions.
·  Familiar with programming languages like Python (PySpark, Scrapy, SpaCy etc), R , Java, SQL, Javascript etc.
·  Familiar with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure & GCP.
·  Strong technical experience of developing architectures that enable a digital transformation within a business org.
·  Knowledge of ETL platforms, SoA, integrations, SOAP and REST based services
·  Good understanding of microservices based architectures.
·  Experience in designing API based architectures in platforms like Mulesoft
·  Familiar with database design and data modeling.
·  Knowledge and understanding of Application and Software Design Patterns
·  Experience with Dev-Ops Processes
·  Experience in leading Agile Methodology project delivery
·  Experience in leading enterprise architecture activities locally and globally.

Education/Experience Requirement:

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
·  12+ years of relevant work experience
·  Occasional Speaker at conferences on either technology or leadership
