We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Departments of Discovery Oncology and Early Discovery Biochemistry to characterize novel ubiquitin signaling pathways and enzymes. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a wide range of cellular, biochemical and molecular biology techniques. These will include the development and implementation of protein interaction assays, enzymatic assays, cell-based assays and may also include in vivo studies with engineered mice. Practical experience with or a solid understanding of enzymology and mass spectrometry techniques are encouraged.

Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. degree and may have completed some postdoctoral research in the areas of Biochemistry, Structural Biology, and/or Cell Biology with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with standard molecular biology techniques. Efficient time management and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously are essential. Candidates are expected to independently plan and execute experiments, interpret results and proactively solve problems. The candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and coordinate multiple research teams. Proficiency with graphing, data management, and drawing software is strongly recommended. Attention to detail and enthusiasm for science are a must.
