The Lazar lab is seeking a highly talented postdoctoral researcher to explore new protein engineering directions in the field of monoclonal antibodies. Research will combine rational- and selection-based protein engineering tools, together with structure solution and computational methods when appropriate. The ultimate objective of this work will be to develop innovative technology platforms that enable optimization of next generation therapeutic antibodies.

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field, and have a strong background in protein engineering, preferably with experience leveraging rational protein design and/or library selection methods. Expertise in structural biology is valued, and computer programming skills are a plus. Experience with antibodies is not essential. Qualified candidates should have a strong publication record from their graduate research. Enthusiasm for tackling complex problems, rigorous scientific logic, and strong technical skills in the lab are essential qualities. Highly motivated candidates with a passion for innovation are encouraged to apply.
