Job description

The Position

As part of the Payroll, Time & Benefits Team, your focus will be on payroll, benefits, and absence management. You’ll provide customer service and advisory support to employees, managers, and business partners, ensuring end-to-end process completion in alignment with Roche People Practices.

Your Opportunity

  • Service Delivery: Execute system data maintenance and administrative activities in support of P&C business processes, including payroll, tax, social insurance, time, and various local and global benefits administration.

  • Customer Service: Provide customer service on pay, time, and benefits-related activities, such as inquiry resolution, request management, and troubleshooting.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance in line with the countries, customers, and regulations.

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and communications to partner in a proactive and customer outcomes-focused way.

  • Process Improvement: Implement processes and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement as well as service enhancement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build relationships with P&C colleagues as well as with customers to ensure ongoing service delivery effectiveness.

  • Outputs & Deliverables: Contribute continuously to the improvement of the performance of People Support Solutions, aiming for high customer satisfaction through consistent, high-quality delivery and application of customer care principles.

Who you are 

  • You will be working within a team focusing on a customer group from one of the regions and across various functions and levels within the organization.

  • Experience Required: Ideally 1-3 years of experience in payroll services and benefits administration, preferably in a shared service center environment, with knowledge of payroll cycle and processes.

  • Skills Needed: Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication skills in English (other languages based on region). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment and handle multiple priorities.

  • Proven track record of delivering in a matrix organization, preferably with HR generalist know-how, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and multicultural environment working across borders.

  • Core Capabilities: Living customer centricity through day-to-day interactions, demonstrating end-to-end accountability, problem-solving skills, and having a growth mindset.
