Part-time Finance & Accounting Support (for university students)

Job description

The Position

You will be part of a team of three finance professionals who belong to the Finance & Logistics function within Roche Diagnostics Slovensko. We are working in close collaboration with the Sales department but also with our Shared Service Center in Budapest. Our goal is to provide transparent and accurate financial reports, generate insights about our financial performance and support our business partners in achieving their objectives.

We are looking for a pro-active and experienced university student, to support the Finance Team in the following areas:

Customer pricing / deal calculation

• Maintaining pricing master data in the systems (e.g. SAP)
• Tracking expired sales contracts

Credit & collection management

• Validating customer payment advice and preparing invoice clearings
• Preparing analyses on customer payment behaviour

Month-end closing

• Supporting ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) checks to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting
• Reviewing purchase orders to ensure correct cost centre allocation

Support on ad-hoc activities and analysis

Who you are

• University student in Finance, Accounting and/or Controlling, completed at least 3 years of your studies
• Preferably, you have already had the chance to gain some work experience, e.g. working for a Big 4 firm
• English Language - Intermediate (B2)
• Slovak Language - Expert (C2)
• Microsoft Excel - Advanced
• Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) – Intermediate level is desired
• SAP (preferred)
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving attitude and desire to learn
• Ready to take ownership
• Time flexibility (approx. 15 hours per week)
• Hybrid role (mix of working from office and home is possible)

Hourly salary is 7 EUR gross.
