The Position
Role:
Mulesoft Platform Architect (should be able to define and be responsible for an organization’s Anypoint Platform Architecture, Platform Innovation and Guardrails & Best Practices)
Key responsibilities:
Defining and being responsible for Anypoint Platform Architecture in Roche, Platform Guardrails, Innovation & Best Practices
Defining and delivering the Integration Technology aspects of the projects, including timely production of architectural designs and documentation
Being a key contributor and advocate of Microservice, API Management, process automation, frameworks in projects and programs
Participating in a Technical Design Authority to assess and quantify the risks associated with design decisions and communicate these to the relevant parties
Communicating the implementation approach and design methodology to the federated DevOps teams
Leading a team to create innovative solutions to boost the developer's productivity
Skill set:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field with over 7 years of application and data integration experience.
Hands-on expertise and worked as an Integration Technology Architect on the adoption of Hybrid Integration or iPaaS solutions with a particular focus on the Mulesoft Anypoint platform that includes API Designer, API manager, and API studio.
Mandatory certifications: MCD, MCIA, MCPA in MuleSoft.
Experience designing public and private enterprise solutions using standards such as OAS, RAML, REST based APIs, Async API, GraphQL.
Solid understanding of the API life cycle, solution architecture, and technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of integration architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, Pub / Sub etc. including Event Driven Architecture.
Good experience in Mulesoft RunTime Fabric, Kubernetes-based Platform automation.
Excellent communication skills.
Added Advantage:
Hands-on Kubernetes expertise on Rancher, EKS.
CICD expertise in GitLab.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
Scripting Languages such as Python, JS, NodeJS, Bash, etc.
Knowledge of Solace Event Broker.
Experience delivering in the scrum, agile methodologies.
