An opportunity to join Roche Portugal at an exciting time as we expand our activities in area of Lung Cancer. We intend to strengthen our medical team with a temporary position of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) until 31 st December 2018. This position is in the Medical Directorate and will report to the Head of Pipeline & Medical Science Liaisons.
Main responsibilities:
• The MSL Function is a non-promotional, field-focused function.
• Works with the Medical Manager giving scientific support to the product / therapeutic area team.
• Interacts with Health Professionals (PS) to identify and understand their views, preferences and interests, and to identify where and how Roche can respond to these needs according to the established strategy.
• It acts as a privileged interface between Health Professionals and Roche, through a highly rigorous and high quality medical-scientific interaction.
• Responds to the scientific issues of Health Professionals, together with the Medical Information and Medical Management department, based on Roche's national legislation and internal regulations.
• Works as a bridge and point of contact with investigators and supports the Roche Clinical Trials in close collaboration with Medical Management and the Clinical Trials department.
• Acts in line with national legal and regulatory standards and Roche's Code of Conduct and Regulation.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences or degree in other areas of life sciences or health with relevant and proven experience in the specific therapeutic area
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
Experience:
• Professional experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry as MSL or equivalent role is highly recommended
• Experience in the area ofOncology, preferably in Lung Cancer
• Experience in principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation of results and their clinical relevance
• Experience in establishing and maintaining scientific collaboration relationships with Professionals and Health Institutions
