Your main responsibilities are:
Ensure compliance with global standards/ guidelines as well as local laws and regulations.
Accountable for driving and managing compliance in the affiliate by providing insights, guidelines, proposing solutions and proactively mitigating possible non-compliance risks. Provide guidance to the business functions and answer their questions regarding the defined compliance standards.
Ensure compliance of Roche Slovenia business operations with all applicable local laws and regulations.
Act as a business partner to all internal functions to support their projects/activities from a legal perspective and providing guidance to effectively manage legal matters.
Negotiates specific contractual issues and agreements with external parties as appropriate. Ensure compliance with national personal data privacy legislation within the affiliate.
For this position, you bring following experience and competence:
Bachelor's degree in Law and state judicial exam
At least 3 years experience as legal/compliance counsel preferably in international company. Experience in compliance management in business areas of pharmaceutical or diagnostics is a plus.
Strong track record in managing compliance, legal activities and risks management.
Experience in designing and implementing programs and policies pertaining to a variety of regulations.
Experience in providing legal advice for a wide range of regulatory matters.
Experience in providing commercial advice and business judgement while working to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Slovenian laws and European regulations, including but not limited to Medicines Act, Commercial, Public Tenders, GDPR, etc.
Advanced knowledge of English and Slovenian, both written and spoken.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to drive results through collaboration across various functions and many levels of an organization
Strong willingness to learn
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
