The Role
We are offering an outstanding opportunity for a talented Lab Design & Operations Consultant.
As a Lab Design & Operations Consultant you will work in the Consultancy team to support, as an active member, the development of the customer during the total lifecycle of the customer, enhancing a sustainable partnership with the customer. You will have the opportunity to shape and implement novel consultancy service packages in the Healthcare environment with the main focus on the lab or lab related activities.

Your impact
You perform in-depth analysis of the laboratory workflow (people, sample, logistic, data flow and much more) during lab audits with the objective to propose an optimised laboratory concept including the layout, workflow, and an integration and consolidation proposal based on Roche solutions.
You will be an active member in the Lifecycle management of the customer. You will proactively identify and answer the complex needs of the customer, valorising the brand of Roche Healthcare Consulting. You will also support the Sales teams by steering the customers’ objectives and needs, valorising and promoting Roche solutions, and cooperate closely with the Sales teams as you are co-responsible for reaching specific commercial targets.

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Sciences, eg. biomedical, chemical, biotechnology, biology, etc; or, in Business Engineering with a background in Technologies (digital technologies and/or processes) and Sciences (chemistry).
You have several years of experience in at least one of the following fields: clinical labs or life science.
You are talented in building strong relationships and you are skilled in customer communication as you excel in listening to and understanding the customer. You get energised when creating enthusiasm, you know how to respond adequately to the needs of customers. To achieve this goal you are also skilled in creating presentations and delivering them effectively to diverse audiences.
You speak Dutch and English.
