Junior Investor Relations Officer

As Junior Investor Relations (IR) Officer, you are responsible for analyzing the investor community, providing internal performance updates and ensure information flow to share and bond holders. You will gain experience related to internal and external communication to senior management and the financial community.

Your primary responsibilities are:

·  Monitoring sell-side reports and collecting consensus estimates
·  Providing monthly analyses on share price and sector performance
·  Acting as a key point of contact for financial institutions and investors with a special focus on handling requests on sustainable and responsible investing
·  Handling requests from bond holders
·  Running the IR homepage

You have a strong life sciences or medical background, with a first working experience in the financial industry (preferably as healthcare analyst) or in consulting. You love working in a highly dedicated team with the opportunity to gain deep insights into all aspects of investor relations.

For this position, you bring the following qualifications:

·  Deep interest in capital markets, validated understanding of company valuations especially in the healthcare sector
·  Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Bloomberg as well as in business tools such as Excel and Powerpoint
·  Fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German is an advantage
·  Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, ability to explain and present financial value drivers as well as scientific concepts or clinical outcomes to a broader audience
·  Ability to network and liaise with a wide variety of groups within the organization in order to obtain and share information
