The Position
A new vacancy is available now in Service & Customer Support department of Roche Romania - Diagnostics Division, based in Bucharest. The new job we are opening is Field IT Engineer, to drive more the digital solution adoption and to support IT solutions implementation. This position will report to the Workflow & IT Project Lead.
You will be responsible to build implementation plans for Roche IT Digital Solutions and to support their implementation. You will collaborate with partners for the interface related matters with the Laboratory Information System/ Hospital Information System. You will perform periodic maintenance, corrective actions, troubleshooting and installation of Roche IT products.
Key responsibilities
Provide support for Roche IT & non-IT products, mainly remotely but also on site.
Perform installation and uninstallation of Roche IT software products.
Perform installation and uninstallation of Roche/ non-Roche IT hardware auxiliary products.
Perform software upgrades and revisions on relevant products.
Provide specialized support for configuring IT solutions and maintaining them in optimal operating conditions.
Provide customer support to establish workflow for equipment coordinated or monitored by Roche IT solutions.
Monitor and take the necessary corrective measures to comply with the specific performance indicators.
Establish and develop strong professional relationships with customers in order to maximize customer satisfaction and contribute to building a good reputation for Roche Diagnostics.
Act as a Project Manager for Roche IT solutions project implementation.
Support the commercial team on engaging IT decision makers in public and private segments.
Who you are
Technical university studies.
Work experience with IT products, as well as customer support experience.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently as well as in a team, cooperating well with all levels.
Self-starter, with a positive and client-oriented attitude, able to cope with change and to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely and high-quality accomplishment
Preferred previous experience in IT Healthcare systems.
Operating systems knowledge (ex. Windows, Windows Server).
Basic database knowledge (preferable SQL, Oracle).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
English & Romanian language skills are mandatory to the job.
Clean driving license – B category - is a must as well as the availability to travel in the field.
