Position: IT Expert- Business Analyst

As an IT Expert – Business Analyst you'll be responsible for overseeing and performing all analysis and conceptual activities in relation to the definition of solutions within specific business area. Driving innovative and scalable solutions, you'll capture business requirements and develop a detailed understanding of processes and operations surrounding them, contributing to the creation of business cases. Developing solution alternatives, you'll identify dependencies, assess risk and work alongside solutions architects to conceptualize design.

Providing analytical input on projects and operations, you'll work on continued development of solutions as user requirements and operational processes develop. Reviewing change and formulating innovative solutions, you will coordinate the collection of feedback, interact closely with business customers and establish IT as a partner to teams and users by providing analytical and conceptual work that will achieve the intended business outcomes. You will provide guidance to the team of Business Analysts working in specific business area. You will also develop, implement and promote standards and best practices across the IT organization.

Accountable for documentation, which may include, but is not limited to:

·  Program Plans and Roadmaps
·  User Requirements and/or User Stories
·  Functional specifications
·  Process flow diagrams
·  Training documentation and/or work instructions
·  Provides consultation to customers regarding enhancement/improvement of current solutions and implementation of new solutions – both systems and processes.
·  Facilitates and/or supports customers in UAT planning and execution
·  Drives resolution of business or systems issues

Qualifications

With a degree in IT or a similar equivalent, you'll ideally bring at least 10 years of experience of working in international IT environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or the life sciences sector, with a track record of delivering solutions based on careful analysis of business requirements, information and data. Able to apply a detailed working method you'll be confident working as part of a multi-site and regional teams and partnering with IT and Business stakeholders. An excellent communicator, you'll be able to deliver strategic information, issues and solutions across the enterprise.

·  Experience with gathering requirements around data, data transformations, data formats, data models
·  Excellent documentation skills
·  Knowledge of the drug development process, specifically with the Clinical Data Management processes
·  Experience with Clinical Data Capture systems, Medidata Rave would be an asset
·  Experience with Clinical Study Data Standards, Transformation Models in Pharmaceutical or CRO company
·  Experience as a Clinical Data Manager would be an asset
·  Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
·  The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
·  Advanced technical skills
·  Experience creating detailed reports and conducting presentations
·  Competency in Google Docs and Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
·  Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
·  Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally
