The Position

We are looking for you to join Roche and our Roche Services & Solutions Center in Budapest. What we do:

Digital Experience Platform (DXP) is a dedicated chapter in RSS/GCX, focused on delivering enhanced experience-centric support services across the whole Roche organization, by enabling innovative solutions to ensure support excellence. Our team consists of technical, process and operational support professionals who collaborate with teams across Roche and with key 3rd party vendors, to define, create and provide support solutions for our customer facing organizations.

Your day to day responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for reviewing ServiceNow Change/Enhancement demands submitted by users. The first phase is to identify what group/team the request is coming from, what is the functional requirement(s), and what is the urgency/importance so as to set a priority. The second phase is to define a technical solution that addresses the functional requirements and develop a level of effort estimation so the change / enhancement can be submitted for approval

  • Is an active part in the product’s lifecycle management and ensures that any solution is chosen to fulfill known and understood business requirements, fitting into the Product roadmap definitions and continuously providing business value over its lifecycle.

  • Often assumes the additional role of IT Business Partner, Product Manager, Squad Lead, Scrum Master where appropriate

  • Develops and maintains the business case including high level solution options and resource estimates and resource confirmation as in support to the strategic backlog management process

  • Acts as an interface between business and IT functions and as a contact point for business leads in order to launch initiatives, leading and driving the scoping phase.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with IT Business Partner and/or Product Manager in business development activities like translating business strategy in technology enabled strategies, C-POD activities, portfolio management processes, feasibility studies, clarifying available technology on the market and vendor selection (RFI/RFP/RFQ)

  • Strives for harmonization of business processes across sites and departments by propagating common standardized data models, applications and technologies that are in line with the cross-functional or functional Informatics strategies and architectures.

  • Performs typical Business Analysis activities and creates deliverables as per Roche standards within a squad/project like a Business Case, Project Charter and URS/User Stories

  • Works with delivery and the project team to ensure that the final solution matches the URS and customer’s needs and is delivered according to plan

As a qualified expert, you:
 

  • Support the upscaling of the Customer Service Management app in ServiceNow

  • Act as liaison between the Business Stakeholders, Business Support Functions and the ServiceNow Team. Translates business and user requirements into platform functionality, owns the relationship with project stakeholders, and makes sure stakeholders are represented during planning, development, and release processes

  • Transform information gathered from testing and feedback into UX requirements to revise and enhance the product and associated services

  • Support UAT testing via creating test scripts and documentation

  • Create detailed business analysis and specifications by understanding the outlining problems, risk, opportunities and solutions presented by requesters

  • Assist the end users / requesters in tracking the progress of all the ServiceNow demand records and provide updates prior to the demand review call

  • Coordinate with the stakeholders (requesters and ServiceNow team) on the status of the demands and help them move forward

  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to ServiceNow team (architects, developers , Product owners and/or the project team)

  • Perform assessment validation of the UAT results by end users

  • Act as liaison between various parts of the business by driving awareness of requirements across business units

  • Create and implement precise management plans for key projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels

  • Oversee and perform analytical and conceptual activities to one or many accounted business domain(s) against internal business partners

  • Responsible for responding to any business demand by gathering requirements and translating conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements and specifications that is comprehensible to developers / ServiceNow project team

  • 5+ years of successful experience in a comparable position managing and supporting similar products in a multinational environment, mainly in virtual setup

  • ITIL Foundation and as a plus Practitioner Certificate

  • Scrum Master Certification

  • Experience with working in a scaled agile framework

  • Experience in working in a global, virtual team with proven interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with Informatics / Finance & Procurement staff in multiple countries and varying cultures

  • Flexibility to work outside of business hours if required

  • Strong coordination, organizational and communication skills

  • Strong verbal and written English skills, additional languages are an asset

  • In-depth business domain knowledge of Digital Employee Experience tools (Nexthink) and ServiceNow (ITSM)

  • Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions, strong problem solving, teamwork and organizational skills. Ability to influence decision making through analysis

  • Advance skills expected from an Expert Business Analyst, i.e.: business partnering, ability to quickly learn new business domains, requirements elicitation and management, business process analysis and design, usability and the ability to facilitate workshops

  • An Agile mindset and in-depth knowledge of BA framework

  • Experience in management of business and IT stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead both with and without authority

  • Exhibits strong soft skills: active listening, challenging the status quo, strong communication skills, coaching, translating business vocabulary into technical wording and vice versa
