As an intern in the Product Design team of Diabetes Care at our site in Mannheim you will get the opportunity to work on problems that are really worth solving.

Our team designs better experiences for people with diabetes, a disease affecting more than 382 million people worldwide. And just to put this number into perspective: If diabetes would be a country, it would be the 3rd biggest in the world.

We work on a wide variety of products that help people with diabetes in their daily lives. There is for example a smartphone app to share data with the doctor, a remote control for an insulin pump, and quite a few new and innovative products we can't talk about yet.

During your internship you will help design future experiences for our products as a user researcher, interaction designer or visual designer. You could for example conduct user studies, create interactive prototypes, or design beautiful user interfaces for iOS and Android apps.

·  Motivated to solve healthcare problems that affect millions of people
·  Study design, human-computer interaction, psychology or similar
·  Passionate about user research, interaction design and / or visual design
·  Experience with design tools (i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Axure)
·  Have good communication skills and are not afraid to ask questions
·  Fluent in English and preferably a good command of the German language
·  Willing to move to Mannheim – if you do not currently live in our beautiful city

Time Period: 4 to 6 months. Please indicate possible start and end point of your internship.
