The Position
The RDS R&D POC (Point of Care) department develops diagnostic systems used for the measurement of various physiological parameters in the hospital and critical care environment. We provide solutions for on-the-spot diagnosis in the areas of coagulation monitoring, urinalysis, glucose management, cardiovascular care, and blood gas & electrolyte testing. The team comprises experts with various backgrounds in engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, and laboratory.
We are looking for an intern who promotes our department within Roche and communicates the progress of our work across the department and to the stakeholders outside of it.
Key Responsibilities:
You drive and coordinate the department’s internal marketing activities
You create and publish content for the intranet web pages and internal social media
You promote the creation of short videos, presentations, and infographics
You organize internal events, campaigns, and department appearances at company internal fairs
You work from Rotkreuz, Switzerland
Who you are:
You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in marketing, communication, journalism or similar Alternatively, you finished your studies within the last 12 month prior the start date
You can capture and convey technical content in a concise and comprehensive way
You already had the opportunity to practice your writing skills
Preferably, you have graphic design and/or video editing skills
You are a proactive team player who brings in innovative ideas
You have good knowledge of spoken and written English, German is a plus
Start date: June 2024
Workload: 100%
Duration: 6 months (extension to up to 12 months possible)
This internship is not suitable for writing a thesis.
For non-EU/EFTA citizens: Certificate from the university needs to be attached stating that an internship is mandatory (required due to regulations). Furthermore, they have to be enrolled during the whole internship period.
