Preclinical Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (pCMC) is a global function within Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED). We develop robust and innovative API synthesis and formulations to supply and enable key preclinical activities paving the way towards Entry Into Human. We are CMC experts and together with our discovery functions partners, we generate scientific and technical knowledge to assess the developability of drug candidates. We build our strength on a broad diversity of enthusiastic technical experts, pharmacists, chemists and analytical scientists delivering and innovating in the space of small molecules, peptides and oligonucleotides.

You will support the Drug Delivery and Preformulation Sciences group within pCMC/pRED in different scientific working areas, such as:

·  Work on formulation strategies for the delivery of novel therapeutic moieties for parenteral application.
·  Improve and implement novel analytical screening tools to characterize drug delivery vehicles.
·  Investigate the impact of different excipients on formulation ( e.g. drug loading, release and stability).

Who you are:

You are preferably a master student in the subject of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology and have an interest in technical or analytical issues. Furthermore, you are interested in using and sharing your knowledge as part your Internship in a modern working environment. Your further profile for this position:

·  Reliable and accurate working style
·  Team-oriented and decision-making personality
·  Self-sufficient, problem solving-oriented work habits
·  Good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  Proficient in English, German is a plus

·  For Non-EU/EFTA citizens: Due to regulations, you must provide a certificate issued by your university stating that an Internship is mandatory for your studies

All successful final candidates will be invited to a virtual interview day which will take place 15.10.2020 .

The Internship will start in 2021 for 6-12 month , please indicate your preferred start date and duration in your application .
