Faster Filing is a highly visible Roche /Genentech 4-year Transformation Program which aims at reliably and sustainably reducing the time it takes to provide market access to a new medication for patients around the world. The program entails change efforts around people, processes, systems and tools to enable Global Filing Teams to accelerate their work while maintaining the quality of their end product, a global submission dossier for health authorities, and ensuring their work practices are sustainable for teams and individuals.

Knowledge Cycling & Learning is one of the five strategic pillars of the program which aims at establishing a system of continual learning to capture and disseminate critical knowledge across all key stakeholders in the filing process.

Objectives and Scope of Position:

Support of PD Faster Filing Knowledge Cycling Team(s) by helping to coordinate global activities with team members, subject matter experts and external partners to develop solutions aiming at enhancing the effectiveness of Global Filing Teams.

The Faster Filing Intern will be supporting the Knowledge Cycling Strategy Lead in driving the building of skills, knowledge and expert practices generated through the filing work, with a particular focus on learning programs for organizational filing effectiveness and leadership, global teamwork, and digital business learning strategies.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

·  Supporting the implementation of organizational learning programs from concept to delivery and measurement of effectiveness
·  Managing communications with internal and external OD / learning business partners and vendors under guidance
·  Learning to create online, video based and f2f learning programs and workshop designs to support people capability development, team productivity and digital learning strategies
·  Researching new learning platforms and technologies that will allow for increase in productivity and enable employees to learn new skills
·  Exploring how to assess and embed a new learning technology in business processes to ensure that the solution is adopted by the business

Based on skills/knowledge and interests:

·  Build under guidance learning data analytics capability for knowledge cycling
·  involvement in knowledge management system development to capture, organize and disseminate filing know how
·  involvement in knowledge management infrastructure (taxonomy, search, database)
