The Position
The Core Lab Reagents Life Cycle Team is offering a development opportunity as an Intern in International Product Management.
In this role, you are working closely with the responsible product managers for the respective products and support them in their daily business as well as with strategic projects and marketing initiatives.
We are looking for an ambitious person with a business, medical or life science background who wants to experience the tasks of global product management by supporting the members of the International Business Team.
The Core Lab reagent life cycle team is managing the majority of Roche Diagnostics’ reagents. The role offered is located in an International Business Team with the following focus:
Women's Health and Sepsis: Explore potential future new indications, from a market and business perspective
Clinical Chemistry: Ensure a broad and sustainable menu and responsible for marketing, portfolio expansion and streamlining, as well as on market care.
Key responsibilities:
Assist product managers with product management, development, quality, availability and cost position as part of active life cycle management
Help to identify new market opportunities based on market, customer & competitive data
Assist in the marketing and commercialization of the existing products
Support new and ongoing marketing initiatives and conduct competitor analysis
Work closely with the regional and local organization to streamline marketing activities
Help to optimize the internal and external digital channels of the product communication
Support the interaction and creation of deliverables for countries and regions as well as internal stakeholders such as the Leadership team, Research and Development department, Complaint Handling Unit, Operations, Finance, Communications and Regulatory
Who you are:
You are currently enrolled as a MA/MSc student or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months) in the field of business (e.g. management, finance, marketing), medical or life science
You have a strong interest in combining business and medical perspectives to drive market leadership and make an impact for patients
You are reliable, willing to learn new things, have a strong self-reflection and ability to work independently in a changing environment. You show ownership as well as responsibility for submitted tasks
You have strong analytical and communication skills. Your English skills are excellent in oral and written communication
Preferably you have already had first experience in the field of product management and/ or marketing
You have strong skills in office applications, in particular presentation (MS Office or gSuite)
Previous internships/experience in consulting is a strong asset
Project management experience is a plus

The applicants must be enrolled at an accredited university or have completed their studies within the past 12 months.
