Roche South Africa Diagnostics is looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist and Inventory Controller. You as Logistics Specialist and Inventory Controller would be responsible for IDOCs Monitoring System interface between Roche ERP and 3PL (UTI) ERP systems for both Sales and Inventory to minimize system reporting anomalies and variances.

In bound Logistics Reconciliations (Expediting Administration)

·  Collate all documentation for customs clearance per shipment and reconcile and ensure accuracy to the freight forwarding/clearing agent invoices in terms of agreed terms and conditions and authorize for payment by finance
·  Act as the responsible person for ensuring that all customs related permits for in-bound logistics importation of specialized inventory is completed in conjunction with guidance from the clearing agent

Inventory Management System Reconciliations

·  Manage the IDOCS interface between the 3PL provider inventory and sales system and the RDSA SAP inventory and sales system and address any anomalies or variances highlighted by the system timeously with the relevant internal departments (IT, Finance) or the 3PL logistics or IT departments
·  Monitor the KPI metrics within the IDOCS system
·  Reconcile the SAP inventory and SAP sales levels (3PL sales) and address any anomalies or variances

Inventory Interface Control

·  Carry out daily checks on IDOCS to ensure that the SAP inventory reconciles to UTI inventory and resolve any anomalies or discrepancies with the relevant internal customers or 3PL personnel
·  Ensure that all information is posted, up to date and accurate in SAP system before financial month end closing

Inbound Logistics related functions

·  Assist the Purchasing Officer with the procurement of all relevant RDC inventory in line with the relevant SOPs requirements and within the agreed purchasing schedule (as defined by GSC)
·  Provide assistance with in-bound logistics management and administration pertaining to the custom import requirements for shipments and inventory receipting by 3PL in accordance with SOP requirements

You, as an ideal candidate, have the following skills, experience and education:

·  Essential : National Certificate in Procurement/Logistics /Management or related qualification (NQF level 5) Preferred : National Diploma in the above (NQF level 6)
·  Essential : 3 years logistics/supply chain (SC) experience with focus on inbound logistics and expediter administration Preferred : 5 years as above
·  SAP inventory management module
·  RDG and RDSA supply chain / inbound logistics process flow
·  Understanding of all material movement types
