Health System Partner

This role is the link between Roche and the NHS where we are both looking to develop services within local systems and can see the benefits of working together to improve patient care.

Within Roche you are recognised as having an excellent understanding of health systems and are valued as an expert who can bring this back into the organisation to influence our strategic thinking.

Key responsibilities:

Working as part of a national team, but focused in the southeast region you will:

  • Drive Roche strategy for the future, with the UK NHS at a sub-national level, working with ICS Cancer Alliances, Health Improvement Networks; as well as nationally and at Place as needed.
  • Create early insight and strategic translation of NHS policy and implementation into Roche
  • Provide system expertise on infrastructure, funding flows, quality and performance management and current issues facing the NHS and your health systems
  • Develop strategic relationships and work collaboratively with external partners to identify opportunities to system shape and achieve wins against strategic priorities for all parties.


Your profile:

  • You have the ability to establish positive relationships and engagement with national/ regional / local thought leaders in England, interested in understanding the customers agenda
  • Experience in developing and delivering strategic projects
  • Are an effective and engaging communicator both written and verbally comfortable with bringing people together and facilitating agreement
  • Are a lateral and creative thinker who can adapt our response to meet the needs of the system, patients and Roche
  • Happy to travel frequently across the southeast region of the UK
