The Health Care Ecosystem Lead is a key strategic field-based leadership role that is accountable to establish early Roche partnerships with a focus on Alzheimer's.
As the Health Care Ecosystem Lead, you thrive for an intimate understanding of the Eco-system needs & behaviors for Alzheimer's, you act as the customer-facing, single-point of contact, and as the connector with Roche's internal capabilities, and ultimately drive for co-creation within an Eco-system to achieve personalized & fit-for purpose solutions.
You'll do this as part of a larger self-managed and directed network of Health Care Eocystem Leads. To be successful, you'll need to closely collaborate with all functions in an affiliate to exchange insights and analyze the disease ecosystem. Your knowledge of the competitive landscape will impact Roche strategy, and ultimately patients.
They will uncover critical gaps and challenges in the health care ecosystem that need to be addressed to ensure that the system adapts and evolves to meet the needs of patients with Alzheimer's as a result of new innovative solutions.
This role will build and execute on an integrated strategic plan that will ensure fast access with better outcomes for more patients with Alzheimer's.
Job Accountabilies:
Health Care Ecosystem –Strategic Planning to Address System Gaps & Barriers
· Understand and map Alzheimer's ecosystem with a multi-disciplinary focus (broad scope to include but not limited to: policy environment, government landscape, patient organization landscape, health care infrastructure, patient journey, research environment, commercial ecosystem, patient support ecosystem, education landscape)
· Identify gaps and barriers that exist in the ecosystem and patient journey
· Work collaboratively (internally & externally) to develop and implement a strategic plant to begin to address critical healthcare system ecosystem challenges that will impact the patient journey through multi-stakeholder initiatives
· Work collaboratively (internally & externally) to close system gaps that will positively impact the patient journey.
· Collect, understand and communicate competitive intelligence and actionable insights internally that will inform ongoing strategic planning
· Provide ongoing feedback and advice on relevant policy/government/reimbursement issues that will inform ongoing strategic planning
· With other functional leads on the relevant squad(s) (e.g. Policy Lead, Medical Lead, Patient Experience Lead), establish and coordinate the cross-functional tactical plan of action
· Evaluate impact and effectiveness on squad goals and bring recommendations for adjustments/adaptations based on customer and insights from the Health Care Ecosystem Lead team (national & regional perspectives)
Building Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
· Establish Relationships with committed partners in Alzheimer's (eg. HCPs, Policy Makers, Government, Patient Organizations, Institutions, Researchers, etc.) who will partner on key initiatives to improve patient access
· Establish partnership opportunities to ensure that all stakeholders involved in the patient community understand the innovative solutions that will improve the lives of patients with Alzheimer's.
· Identify partnership opportunities where appropriate
· Build strategic partnerships with a number of key stakeholders on a regional basis, through joint working initiatives that deliver patient benefit
· Work closely with external clinical and managerial staff to diagnose service issues and bottle- necks using available analytics tools including use of 3rd party support where appropriate
· Deliver care support as required around the patient journey
External Scientific Exchange
· Communicate Roche's innovative solutions (eg.Pipeline, molecular, digital) that meets the needs ofAlzheimer'saccording to local laws, regulations, codes and Roche/Genentech SOPs
· Address scientific needs of external multidisciplinary stakeholders with a tailored approach to their relevant expertise according to local laws, regulations, codes and Roche/Genentech SOPs
· Identify the learning needs for multi stakeholders and contribute to the development and execution of learning programs/initiatives tailored to the appropriate target audience according to local laws, regulations, codes and Roche/Genentech SOPs
Other
· Inform Local Safety Responsible person of safety issues according to Roche safety requirements; scientific support and follow-up on product safety issues
· Facilitate access and financial planning as appropriate and required to positively impact the patient journey
Job Requirements
· Preferred – MBA, MSc, Masters in Economics/Policy, Pharm D, PhD (Science, Business), Engineering
· 5-7 years of experience in similar capacity
· Scientific/health acumen
· Pharma landscape understanding
· Business, strategic mindset
· Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative
· Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
· Strong collaboration and interdependent partnering and leadership skills to work closely with multiple internal stakeholders and move plans forward
· In depth knowledge of IMC code and Healthcare Compliance policies and procedures
· Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
· Ability to connect multidisciplinary stakeholders - both internal and external
· Ability to travel based on business need up to 50%
