Head of Supply Chain Asia Pacific

Behind every presentation of each product sold by Roche is the involvement of Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT). Starting with Phase 1 of the development process and continuing through to product maturity. PT makes medicines at sites around the world and includes more than 13,000 employees worldwide.

“Product & Supply Chain Management” (PTS) connects the different parts of Roche to ensure reliable supply of our innovative medicine to customers and patients. The group ensures worldwide reliable supply to patients connecting their needs to the Roche Pharma Global Supply Network. This network consists of Roche manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers and external suppliers. Lastly, PTS leads Product Management Teams within PT, develops and implements product strategies as well as designs and optimizes full Supply Chains from raw materials to final product throughout the whole product life-cycle.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Purpose of the position is to ensure on-going operational performance of Supply Chain in APAC, lead deployment of global supply chain strategy in the region, establish required capabilities in the regional and local supply chain teams, act as connector between Technical Operations and Commercial organization.

Member of Global Supply Chain LT (PTS LT) and of the APAC Regional Leadership Team

Key responsibilities:

·  Link between Commercial and Tech Ops for APAC and LT member of PTS and APAC regional team

Team leadership responsibilities for the functions described hereafter:

·  Demand and replenishment planning of APAC markets consolidating demand forecast from countries and developing a feasible replenishment plan with global supply network. Continuously improve Demand Planning process and tools knowledge among country and regional experts. Establish robust S&OP and Launch processes at regional and country level

KPI's:

·  OTIF
·  Backlogs /stock-out
·  3 Months Forecast Accuracy
·  CDI
·  Timely launches

·  Logistics and Distribution : responsible of deploying required capabilities in APAC according to regulations, global standards and meeting customer service, lead time and cost targets. Co-lead with commercial organization the appropriate selection of local distributors and contract definition. Key capabilities and processes in scope:
·  End to End Temperature control of product storage and shipments
·  GDP requirements for local distributors
·  Anti-counterfeiting measures (includes product serialization and track and trace)
·  Risk Mgt and Logistic Security
·  4PL set-up and contracts for in-bound and out-bound intercompany shipments of the region
·  Local distribution logistics

·  APAC Packaging Hub operations : late stage customization of finished goods with semi-finished goods imported from Europe into Singapore-based 3rd party hub (hub operations gone live in July 2017 with first shipments, country / product / service scope will gradually achieve its target state by end of 2019.

KPI's include Delivery Performance, business case delivery and qualitative satisfaction surveys among stakeholders

·  Artworks management: Artwork process and systems ownership vs all operator's users in the region ensuring training, process and system improvement and leading roll-out of new artwork system in the region (on track for go-live June 2018). Artwork operations for all products going through the Singapore packaging hub (ie ensure timely and accurate implementation of graphic and text elements of Finished goods according to inputs received from country regulatory departments.
·  Supply Chain Systems and Master Data : Maintain material master data for the region, lead community of Sap Super Users in the region ensuring proper training, handling of system change requests, support of Sap-related projects.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor degree in supply chain, life science, business, industrial engineering or equivalent required. MBA a plus.
·  Minimum 8 years experience in Supply Chain management
·  Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in relevant industry
·  Knowledge of Global Supply Chain processes a strong plus
