The Position

The Head of Site Services for the Roche SSC Site is responsible for leading all services related to the normal operations of the site such as Safety, Security, Environment, Health, Office Administration and Facilities in line with the Group requirements and with the applicable law. The job holder also assists the General Manager in all related topics, supervises Site Security in accordance with Roche SHE Guidelines, provides guidance for RSS Operations on how to securely implement all related requirements and actively participate in the Leadership Team for Strategic Business Planning and Implementation. The Head of Site Services is in charge of Roche SSC Budapest Facility related issues, ensuring all facility related topics are supporting the smooth business operation of the Company.

Your day to day responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring that Business Continuity Plan is in place and continuously updated with strong cooperation with the Leadership Team

  • Taking the lead in promoting SHE in the Company based on the local Regulations and conformance with Roche’s Global SHE objectives and goals

  • Compiling and Documenting the SHE KPIs and relevant Reporting

  • Running Site Services in a way that constantly represents Roche values and differentiates the company from competitors – contributing to increasing employee engagement, and attracting new talents to the company

  • Assisting the General Manager with the relevant statutory provisions

  • Ensuring that SHE operations are performed as per Group requirements and local law

  • Co-operating with advisors appointed in relation to safety, health and welfare at work

  • Liaising and coordinating between the Main Corporate Office and Internal Departments in related SHE matters

  • Overseeing mandatory training completion for area of responsibility

  • Regularly sharing Key Figures

  • Ensuring that the KPIs of area of responsibility are transparently reported and shared with relevant stakeholders

  • Performing routine inspections with SHE & Facilities

  • Managing financial provisions together with the Finance Department

  • Maintaining the Roche internal Local Emergency Management (LEM) system

  • Keeping all SHE related inventory and data up to date

  • Sharing best practices

  • Overseeing all procurement related activities, ensuring that suppliers are chosen in compliance with all relevant Group Directives

  • Cost Control

  • Overseeing Facility and Business Expansion related Contract Management.

  • Forecasting/Budgeting in all related areas

  • Cost Control and Timely Implementation of the Relevant Project

  • Implementation and regular supervision of of Site Security and Surveillance System

  • Liaising and Coordinating between the Main Corporate Office and Internal

What can you bring to our team:

  • 2-3 years of experience in SHE and Facility field, reporting and/or data protection

  • 2-3 years of experience in process implementation and in global project support

  • Excellent command of English

  • Ability to represent the SSC in global projects from Site Services perspective

  • Experience in high level stakeholder management

  • Ability to supervise and lead all security relevant issues of the company/site
