The Role:

The Head of Access & Policy plays a crucial role in our organization by enabling the delivery of life-changing healthcare to patients. They will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance the accessibility of our pharmaceutical products in Bangladesh. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, government bodies, healthcare providers, and NGOs to identify barriers to access and develop innovative solutions to overcome them. 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Public Access

• Crafting and executing strategies to improve access to innovative medicine and quality diagnostics

• Ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and enhancing collaboration through strong stakeholder relationships

• Managing sustainable patient access programs that are effective and well-integrated with local health practices

Policy Shaping

• Engaging in extensive market research to uncover the challenges to access in Bangladesh

• Taking a  proactive approach to shaping health policies that facilitate better access to innovative medicines

Public Relations / Government affairs

• Leading efforts to communicate the company's commitment to improving pharmaceutical access in Bangladesh, showcasing the effectiveness and sustainability of patient access programs

• Working across teams to highlight the organization's role in integrating health solutions within Bangladesh's healthcare systems 

Who you are:

As the Head of Access & Policy, you will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape in Bangladesh, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of enhancing product access in challenging markets.

With extensive experiences in the field of market access, public health, policy shaping, you have a deep understanding of the healthcare system, processes and governance, regulatory environment, and market dynamics in Bangladesh.  

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field. Post graduate degree in Public Health, Health Economics, or related discipline preferred

• A robust strategic understanding of health solutions relevant to the ecosystem, including clinical research.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Fluency in English communication

This role may require domestic/international travel and is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Bangladesh.
