The Position

As an enterprise minded leader, the Finance Enterprise Partner will provide financial and business insights to diverse Leadership Teams and oversight into the Pharma sales trajectory and commercial and R&D investments to inform long-term Pharma strategy.
Through a focus on agile ways of working, empowered decision making within the Finance organization globally and locally, and a shared sense of purpose in bringing medicines to patients, you will be part of creating and continuously improving our operating model to increase effectiveness and to engage and empower our people. This role reports to the Head of Strategic Finance and you will work across different work packages that will evolve over time.
You are somebody who can collaborate in discussions beyond Finance. You have a proven, strong entrepreneurial mindset and have a broad commercial finance experience, and have worked preferably as a Finance Manager in an affiliate. You have a strong Finance background, but understand (or have experience working in) other parts of the business and how they impact financial decisions. You have the ability to drive outcomes across the enterprise by creating and leveraging networks across the global Finance organization.
You see across areas to identify the best resource allocation, considering short term gains and long term potential. You will shape, drive and deliver business strategy by applying Finance functional expertise and objectivity. You will inspire the best performance in those around you.
The key responsibilities include:
Contribute to discussions around sales forecasts and trajectory and support to set the right commercial ambition
Driving and influencing strategic short and long term decisions with transparent information
Strategic discussion with LT members / iSquads around actual performance and planning
Contribute to consistent improvement of operating model
Developing and maintaining resource allocation model across the value chain
Providing transparency and insights that drive and influence value creation
Support business projects
Who you are:
To be successful in this role you will have broad Finance knowledge and Business Partner experience. A Bachelor degree is required, and an MA/MBA is preferred. You display strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels and to position ideas and manage expectations in line with an agreed portfolio. You think out of the box, strategically beyond the immediate future and are well versed in coaching and relationship-building in a multi-cultural environment.
The key skills include:
Understanding needs and drivers of the commercial organization and deep understanding of the commercial business
Ability to think E2E and understand complex systems
Thinking outside the traditional boundaries to promote decision making while challenge the existing rules and capitalize opportunities
Ability to form networks across the global Finance organization with a focus to drive enterprise outcomes
Ability to bring the agile ways of working, empowered decision making and creative mindset to life
Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others
Ability to flex and navigate a complex, broad and diverse organization in matrixed structure
Strong learning agility and a passion for coaching and developing others
Ability to influence without direct line management, and at all levels
Fluency in written and spoken English; preference given to having lived and worked in more than one country and have affiliate experience
