The Position

Roche Diagnostics Ltd., Taiwan/Finance Enterprise Partner

As an Affiliate Finance Enterprise Partner, you serve as a key business partner to the commercial organization, fulfilling financial commitments to the corporate. Leveraging comprehensive business insights and financial expertise, you drive strategic initiatives crucial to the organization's success. Cultivating networks across the company, you collaborate on innovative solutions, sharing best practices that generate value for both the affiliate and Roche. In your role as a sparring partner, challenger and decision supporter, you ensure efficient resource allocation, optimizing return on investment for your business partners.

Job Description:

Your Key Responsibilities

Area: Business Partnering

  • Partner with the business and support in negotiating with external stakeholders (customers, HCP's, key accounts) throughout the customer journey.

  • Stay abreast of and scan the internal/external business landscape for trends, issues and opportunities to create value.

  • Provide financial analysis, financial modeling, consultation, transparency and insights to make good business decisions and achieve business objectives.

  • Balance resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities.

  • For the respective business area & key accounts, assure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics or advise deviations and corrective actions.  This includes conducting pricing calculations and analysis, overseeing contract compliance and negotiations, monitoring cost centers, and analyzing profit.

  • Serve as a knowledge connector across business areas, functions, divisions and geography.

  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives.

  • Participates as a proactive member in innovation business sprints.

Area: Business Planning

  • Support on planning event processes for local affiliate – business plan (T3), budget (T0) and the monthly outlook for the full P&L.

  • Provide structured analysis of plan assumptions and performance targets and enable the business to make informed decisions.

  • Streamline finance related workflow, such as improvement of all pricing analysis and management, credit limit reviews, and sales commission calculations.

  • Familiar with GAAP, Taiwan Tax laws and regulations

  • Strong analytical skills, incl. business modeling  & scenario analysis (Experience in relevant medical device or healthcare industry preferred)
