Event Driven Integration Architect / Self-Service & Automation

The Position

Digital Integration is a fundamental capability and a key enabler for the overall digital transformation at Roche.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration Architect on Solace with a specialized focus on Self-Service and Automation. As an integral member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the detailed technical design and delivery of Real-Time Integration capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing event-driven integration platforms as products, emphasizing a deep focus on enhancing Self-Service functionalities and driving Automation.Main Accountabilities:

• Leading technical design activities for all Integration patterns viz. API, Real Time Integration & Event Broker / Advanced messaging, B2B EDI, MFT & ETL

• Optimization for product related processes

• Champion the development and enhancement of Self-Service capabilities within integration products.

• Drive initiatives to maximize Automation, streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency.

• Driving the adoption of event driven architecture

• Support product owners delivering general platform topics

• Setup best practices, technical guidelines, standards and developer productivity tools.

• Perform reviews of Integration Solution Design, Technical Design

• Work with Digital Integration product line for enhancing the Platform capabilities

• Product Ownership of Self-Service & Automation, CI/CD, Monitoring

• Harvest the Integration reusable assets and publish in the Roche Global Integration Marketplace

• Work with various IT teams for collaboration

• Engineer Innovations in the Event Led Integration Platforms

• Detailed requirement gathering and Technical design activities for Real Time Integration & Event Broker/Advanced messaging

• Ensure right usage of CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) framework for delivery and innovate the DevOps pipeline for better productivity and resilience

• Develop accelerators, best practices for continuous Innovation, better quality and implementation

KEY REQUIREMENTS (Essential):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Min of overall 5+ years experience in Integration, min 2+ years experience in Solace preferred

• Proven experience as an Integration Architect, with a focus on Self-Service and Automation.

• Hands on experience in setting up pub sub cloud, pub sub on premise and event mesh at least in 1 customer place / enterprise scaled project, Solace Platform preferred

• Min 1 related certification in the last 2 years, Solace certified Platform Architect preferred (should be completed after 6 months)

• Experience in MuleSoft, SAP CPI tool is an added advantage

• Should have worked in Hybrid Integration Platform & IPaas capabilities

• Extensive knowledge in DevOps CI/CD capabilities

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing Real-Time Integration solutions.

• Experience managing event-driven integration platforms as products.

• Proficiency in driving Automation initiatives to optimize processes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of healthcare or related industries is a plus.
