The position

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Co-coordinator to join our Events Team, providing invaluable support to the Commercial and Marketing Events Team.

Reporting to the Event Team Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of a variety of events such as internal sales conferences, customer meetings, VIP visits at different Roche locations etc.

Day of event support will require being onsite during events,include organising registration, delegate support, onsite activities, managing expectations of all parties and third party supplier liaison (catering, audio/video production, security, facilities etc.) as well astroubleshooting issues and escalating any advanced needs to the appropriate internal and external partners.

The event itself is only part of this role as collating and providing post-event feedback, finalising budgets, invoices and looking at ways to add value is critical for the success of future events.

This is a very varied role and no two days are the same. You will understand and live the vision of the Events team, appreciating our organisational priorities and requirements to ensure that all work is consistently produced to the highest standards.

You will possess a high level of understanding of MS Office and ideally C-VENT.

As an ambassador for Roche Diagnostics, you will strive to exceed customer expectations and add real value to the Events Team and Company. With excellent communication, organisation skills and impeccable attention to details, you are a creative problem solver, resourceful team player, confident asserting rules when needed.

You will have minimum of two years' experience in coordinating events ideally in a corporate environment. You aresomeone who wants to influence their own development and has a passion for learning.This rolewould suit someone who has a genuine interest in developing their career in events management in a market leading company.
