The Position
Enterprise Architect
In your role you will become a member of the Architecture Chapter. The chapter provides the capabilities required to plan and develop Informatics solutions and build roadmaps and strategies to set the direction for the future.
Additionally you will bring an understanding of the external market, drive the research and examination of new technologies to innovate and evaluate the next generation of fit-for-purpose solutions.
In your role you will collaborate Site Services and Workforce Enablement domain team and build the domain strategy together, with your main area of focus being Employee Productivity and Experience (i. e. device management, remote access, employee support, workplace enablement)
As Enterprise Architect you will:
Play a key role in the strategic planning on domain, product line and product level by establishing a technology and information strategy and roadmap that enables a portfolio to support current and future business capabilities connecting the business and IT strategy
Be a Lean Portfolio Governance team member and provide inputs to portfolio prioritization decisions
Drive the design, engineering, reuse of applications or patterns, which includes the creation of Enabler Epics for the architectures that comprise the solutions in a portfolio; ensuring a continuous flow of value and improving the time to market
Have a focus on reusable technology and information to maintain the architectural runway leveraging a composable architecture (i.e. creating reliable easy to compose and consume components)
Drive the research and examination of new technologies including the feasibility assessment that provide insights on the scalability and cross domain usage
Required Knowledge and Skills
Experience in developing strategy and managing architecture of large scale, global deployments of Employee Productivity and Experience services, like:
Device management (PC and mobile)
Device provisioning (zero touch deployments)
Remote access (virtual desktop)
Remote support
Workplace enablement and support (printing, peripherals, inventory, local telephony)
Knowledge of the related areas, like Last Mile support, Site Services and Applications, or Collaboration Platforms.
Academic requirement
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
A certification or detailed knowledge of the TOGAF architecture framework or comparable architecture methodologies is a plus
A certification or detailed knowledge of the SAFE framework or comparable agile delivery methodologies is a plus such as the Open Agile Architecture standard
A certification or detailed knowledge in the area of Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus
Experience
7-10 years experience in architecting/implementing solutions in the Employee Productivity and Experience area
3+ years of experience of managing architecture on strategic level
Ability to build/create proof of concept/pilot applications to showcase platform functionality to business partners/stakeholders.
