The Position
Our team is part of the chapter Documentation & Tools Management which enables R&D to accelerate product delivery by providing internal tool management, product documentation services, training and audit support, and driving internal digitization initiatives.
You will become part of a team which connects our diagnostics R&D through a common foundational toolset. By taking on the central ownership of internal software tools, we are pushing harmonization, simplification and effectiveness while ensuring tool compliance.
Our team is based in Switzerland and Spain. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Lab team members in cleaning laboratory equipment data to ensure the right quality for smooth tool onboardings of new laboratories in Rotkreuz, Sant Cugat and the US.
In this role, you will contribute to the following major activities:
Follow the data clean-up manual to ensure data quality
Apply data cleaning rules and logics to existing data sets
Match & correct equipment ID, inventory and other attributes
Make data files import-ready
Execute data imports into the equipment management toolset
Who you are:
We are looking for an easy-going team player, willing to learn and cooperate in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural team. You are currently enrolled at university, or you have graduated within 12 months before the start of the internship.
Furthermore, you possess:
Strong Excel and Google Sheet knowledge
A meticulous and detail-oriented colleague, ready to follow established procedures
Good knowledge/usage of software tools in general
Good English level (C+)
The internship will take place in Rotkreuz, but you may work from home for up to three days per week.
The preferred start date of the internship is April 2024, or upon availability, for 6 months. Please clearly indicate your preferred starting date and duration of the internship on your CV or on your motivation letter.
This internship is not suitable for a Master's thesis.
Due to regulations, non-EU/non-EFTA citizens without a work permit need to provide a certificate of enrollment, as well as a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory and stating the length of it.
