The Position
You will provide operational support to the Country Study Manager and Country Study Specialist, enabling the effective management of all clinical trials according to global and local compliance requirements. You will support specific studies and take responsibility for coordinating related tasks and processes. Working with the CSM, you will maintain operational templates/tools and provide support to study communications by developing and distributing affiliate supporting documents for sites and local study teams. Accountable for reports and trackers, such as regulatory/ethics approvals, you will manage shared study areas and take responsibility for ordering study-related supplies; ensuring trial tracking systems and tools are updated so they comply with regulations, internal policies and ICH-GCP when applicable.

Supporting study level audit/inspection readiness activities, you will coordinate team meetings and ensure documents are collected to support country ethics approval, health authority processes, quality review checks, completion of country-level Trial Master File (TMF)

Our UK Pharmaceutical head office is situated in Welwyn garden City, Hertfordshire, with beautiful country side surrounding the area. Supported by major motorways & airports as well as being a 30 minute train ride to London, access is easy. With over 1400 people occupying our site in Welwyn, you can expect opportunities in Early Development (pRED), Product Development (PD), Commercial (Rx) and of course our corporate function.

You will have prior work experience that demonstrates an understanding of clinical research and trials, not to mention high competency in managing your own time and knowledge of how to set up ongoing processes for monitoring, collecting and reviewing information. A good communicator who conveys ideas clearly and concisely, you will set high self-imposed standards of performance and will take prompt action to accomplish your work goals. You will earn trust and confidence by acting with integrity and following through on commitments, using persuasion strategies to influence others and maintaining up to date knowledge on technical, functional and professional developments and trends.
