For ourDiagnostics division we are recruiting a Commercial Analyst. The job is based in the Netherlands, but serves multiple countries.

Starting in 2011, Roche has rolled out a tool called 'Global Deal Calculation'. The GDC tool supports our sales organization in the calculation of deals and tenders and is one of the core tools in the commercial environment.

Based in the Netherlands is a hub organization which supports GDC and other commercial tools in the EMEA region. Countries served include the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Scandinavia, South-Africa, Poland, other Eastern-European countries, etc.

The tasks of the hub include:

·  Project Management for GDC application in the countries. Tasks include upgrade to new versions, onboarding of new countries and/or businesses, consulting local business processes, increase adoption of the application etc.,
·  Administrative tasks, such as keeping price, product and cost information up to date in the relevant IT tools,
·  End user support, incident management, training and maintaining an active user community for GDC and potential other commercial applications,
·  Support countries in deal modeling and calculation,
·  Creation of dashboards in Tableau,
·  Representation of the hub and the project portfolio, which includes making management presentation, stakeholder alignment, project strategy and change management.

The team is currently staffed with a Team Manager (located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland), a Commercial Analyst and a Commercial Administrator.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:

·  Delivering first level support to users of GDC, escalation of issues and frequently asked questions
·  Supporting the business with the administration of products, prices, users, etc. in the GDC tool
·  Leading the project implementations for new countries or new business fields and working with local Management Teams and Sales Teams to ensure the tool fits local business needs and commercial strategies
·  Testing of new features and accurate maintenance of testing documents
·  Business partnering with the countries, advising them on successful use of GDC
·  Overall project management activities: documentation, action tracker, pro-active communication, etc.

Profile and competencies

·  The Commercial Analyst should at least have a completed higher education/ bachelor certificate in a business or natural sciences related subject.
·  Prior work experience in an international or commercial environment is required. For this role, it will be essential that you are able to familiarize yourself with the Roche Diagnostics products and business environment (fast learner on the job).
·  Project management experience and affinity with IT systems are required, experience with SAP and Tableau are a plus.
·  You should have a flexible mindset with regard to working with teams from different backgrounds. In addition, we ask you to be pro-active and be able to work independently.
·  Fluency in English is required.
·  You should be flexible with regard to travelling to other countries (1-2 times per month).
