“​Clinical Supply Chain Management” (PTDS) is responsible for the supply of all global clinical trials throughout the lifecycle of our products - Entry in Human (EIH) to post-approval. The group partners with customers and suppliers to offer best in industry services regarding lead-times, flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

The Position

To further strengthen our team for running and optimizing our clinical supply chain, we are looking for a Clinical Demand and Supply Leader (CDSL). Key responsibilities are:

·  The CDSL assumes the strategic coordination of studies/projects and ensures the effective and efficient set-up of the clinical supply chain and the delivery of study supplies in accordance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
·  The position is globally oriented and provides a uniform service level for all clinical and technical partner organizations.
·  You will be acting as a customer oriented single point of contact for all individually owned clinical supply projects and will represent the function in cross-functional and multinational teams.
·  As a core member of technical development and study management teams you will be responsible for forecasting long-term clinical supply demands and setting-up clinical studies to ensure uninterrupted and cost-effective supply to patients.
·  Within the Clinical Supply function the CDSL is the matrix leader of a team simulation, packaging logistics & operations, label design, and distribution experts to ensure timely and compliant patient kit design, packaging, labeling as well as sufficient stocks of medication at depots of the Roche IMP (Investigational Medicinal Products) distribution network.
·  The CDSL uses all available supply planning tools (SAP/APO & IxRS) to their fullest potential and implements optimized supply chains for all projects and studies.

We are looking for you, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

·  Academic degree or diploma in life sciences and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent
·  Clinical and/or drug development experience and knowledge in cGMPs, cGCPs and EU Clinical Trial Directive with experience in project management in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment
·  Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Self-motivated, proactive, quick thinking and adaptable. Ability to set priorities and to remain flexible in stressful situations
·  Customer-focused, ability to create trustful relationships with business partners as well as excellent problem solving and analytical skills
·  Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP/APO and IxRS
·  Excellent written / oral communication in German and English
