Mission

The IT Business Analyst (BA) plays an active part in driving innovative and scalable Products to bring value to business, as well as covering the solution’s lifecycle management to suit respective markets.

What you’ll be working on / Your key responsibilities:

  • You’ll be a crucial part of the product’s lifecycle management and ensure that any solution is chosen to fulfil known and understood business requirements, fitting into the Product roadmap definitions and continuously providing business value over its lifecycle.

  • BA works closely with multiple IT stakeholders (Product Managers, Product Owners,  Development Teams) to support decision-making regarding solution options, deliverables, and priorities.

  • BA collaborates in the area of business partnering and/or product management and frequently takes on the additional role of Product Owner where appropriate.

  • Develops and maintains the business case and strives for harmonization of business processes across sites and departments.

  • Performs typical Business Analysis activities and creates deliverables as per Roche standards within a product/project like a Business Case, User Stories, Functional Specification, Acceptance Criteria, etc.

The ideal candidate:

  • 8+ years of overall professional experience 

  • 5+ years of experience is similar role and context

  • 3+ years experience on a complex / multi-county solutions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

  • Business domain knowledge for one or more of the following area(s): Commercial excellence, CRM, multichannel, analytics/dashboards, data.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of one or more of the following tools: IQVIA OCE (or similar with focus on Sales, Marketing, Territory Management) Reltio MDM, Salesforce.com functionalities, AWS Data Lake, Gigya

  • Practice of Agile BA Frameworks (IIBA)

  • Can collaborate with different areas to perform Business Analysis activities (i.e. Requirements Elicitation and Analysis, Solution Design, Stakeholder Management, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, etc.).

  • Exhibits soft skills typically required as a BA (i.e. listening, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking).

  • Exhibits a Lean-Agile Mindset and can act as an Agile ambassador to display this mindset. 

  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity, and integrity and has a strong passion for bringing value-adding technology to the business.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in implementing CRM platforms within healthcare or life sciences industries, showcasing expertise in setup, configuration, and customization.

  • Strong understanding of CRM system architecture and functionalities, especially modules related to customer engagement, sales, marketing, and service.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications within CRM platforms, with a preference for expertise in IQVIA OCE, specifically EpicX OCE.

  • Demonstrated skill in CRM data management, encompassing data migration, integration, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools and functionalities to optimize customer engagements across various channels, preferably within IQVIA's EpicX OCE environment.

  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful CRM platform implementations aligned with business objectives.

  • Advanced analytical abilities to leverage CRM data for actionable insights and improvements in customer engagement strategies.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, enabling efficient project delivery and iteration within CRM platform implementations.

  • Any certifications or training related to CRM platforms, especially IQVIA's EpicX OCE, would be highly advantageous.

  • Excellent written and verbal Chinese. (English skills is advantageous)

  • Bachelor or Advanced Degree

  • Hands-on experience in the healthcare industry (areas: sales, customer service, marketing, market access, compliance, finance/procurement). 

  • Experience as a Lead BA / Product owner or an Enterprise BA (cross-product, cross-functional) is a plus. 

  • Has practical knowledge of Agile frameworks/methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).

  • Business Analysis certification is a plus (eg. CBAP, IIBA AAC, IREB, etc.). 

  • Experience with one or more diagramming, mockuping and UI design tools (eg. Balsamiq, Draw.io, MS Visio, LucidChart, Enterprise Architect, Adobe XD, etc.). 

  • This position will be supporting our China counterpart/Market
