Are you looking for a new, meaningful opportunity to develop your skills as an Auditor in our Group Audit and Risk Advisory Team?
As an independent review function within the Roche group, Group Audit assists the two core businesses, Pharma and Diagnostics, as well as group functions to manage their business risks and to improve the efficiency and compliance of their operations. We are a multicultural and dynamic team based in Basel, Switzerland and in Singapore. The development of our team members is strongly supported within Group Audit and the Roche Group.
· We regularly have openings in the areas of R&D auditing and Supply Chain, IT auditing or F inancial Compliance . These positions require a fair amount of travelling worldwide (30-50%) and willingness to operate in an international environment, strong team- worker skills and demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills as well as adaptability to different cultures
In the R&D Auditing and Supply Chain area, your key role and responsibilities are :
· Conducting risks based audits of R&D, Supply Chain and Business Development units and their processes in Pharma and Diagnostics.
· Evaluate risks and compliance in the processes reviewed and agree on appropriate action plans with management in order to improve internal controls as well as efficiency and effectiveness of their processes
· Perform risk assessments, develop and adapt work programs
· Support more junior auditors though audit engagements
Main requirements:
· Solid academic credentials in natural sciences or a medical degree
· At least 3 years of practical experience in R&D, production or supply chain in pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry, preferentially experience in technical operations or clinical development
In IT Auditing :
· you will be responsible to risk assess, lead and deliver (primarily) IT audits across multiple disciplines, including:
· Project and programme reviews
· Infrastructure and networks
· Application development (including cognitive technologies)
· Cybersecurity
· Data and information governance
Main requirements:
· you have solid academic credentials (university degree) ideally in IT or business administration, you have 5-7 years of experience in IT or technology and while you do not need to be an expert in all of the bullets detailed above, you should have an appreciation of many of them
· Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must, further languages are an advantage
· Solid technical acumen is required, while process and risk knowledge is a distinct advantage
· Strong team player and excellent communication / influencing skills
· Analytical skills, synthesis capabilities
· Willingness to operate in an international environment
In the Financial compliance Auditing:
· You will be responsible for several Group companies or HQ functions to plan, coordinate and conduct ICFR design and operating effectiveness testing and support the implementation of action plans in case of process/control weaknesses
· You will participate in financial risk assessment and scoping activities for ICFR to maintain a high standard of internal controls across the Roche Group
· You will liaise with Group and divisional business process management functions on Financial Compliance related matters
· You will support training the Roche Finance employees on ICFR related topics
Main Requirements:
You have solid academic credentials (university degree), ideally in business administration,
3-5 years of experience in external auditing (big 4) or direct experience in Finance, ideally in the healthcare industry. CPA qualification is a plus
· Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must, further languages are an advantage
· Solid finance acumen, process and risk knowledge
· Strong team-player and excellent communication / influencing skills, analytical skills, synthesis capabilities
