The Position
2024 Summer Intern - Roche Diagnostics Corporation Legal Intern
This internship position is located in Indianapolis, IN, on site/hybrid
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry

Final presentations of project work to senior leaders
Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives
Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions
Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities
Paired with a 1:1 mentor through the Roche Young Professionals Business Resource Group
Job Responsibilities Include
Assist the Legal Department’s attorneys with a wide range of projects that are critical to delivering practical, proactive legal solutions to business stakeholders in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Tasks include: legal research; preparing initial drafts of pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence; a review of current customer BAAs and documenting certain provisions; coordinating with Legal Operations Team to compile template customer letters and contract language; and attendance at various business stakeholder meetings.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education You meet one of the following criteria:
Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree
Must be pursuing a Law Master's Degree (currently enrolled law student)
Preferred Qualifications
Targeting 2L law students
Desire GPA 3.0 or higher
Student organization and/or study abroad experiences are a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
