Job description

DUTIES:

The Visual Merchandising Executive acts as a key force in shaping the visual identity of our brand across Retail, Wholesale and Travel Retail channels. This roles requires a blend of creativity, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. You will be the key liaison between HQ Brand Experience team, various departments and external vendors. You will bring expertise in visual merchandising strategies, marketing activation and and in-boutique clientele experiences to ensure high standard execution in a timely manner.

 

The Role:

 

Marketing Strategy, Planning and Execution

· 
Generates fresh and new ideas for contribution in marketing strategy and planning discussions

· 
Assist with planning and organization of selected marketing or retail marketing events and evaluates results versus the targets and brand objectives.

· 
Keeps abreast of latest relevant consumer news, competitor news and information in the marketplace.

· 
Lead the development and production of branded collateral and gifting initiatives.

Visual Merchandising

· 
Ensure VM consistency across all channels

· 
Oversee seasonal and standard PLV ordering, monitoring warehouse PLV inventory levels.

· 
Manage all aspects of store zoning and rotations with Retail teams, ensuring key products are displayed to maximize business opportunities.

· 
Lead the planning and execution of boutique openings and setups.

· 
Manage the implementation of window and campaign updates in boutiques, coordinating project timelines with all key stakeholders.

· 
Manage the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget effectively for Visual Merchandising and boutique activations.

· 
Review and update VM guidelines, align training materials, and conduct regular training sessions for boutique staff.

· 
Support VM set up for events, activations and press showings.

Store Planning & Construction:

· 
Liaise with landlords/dept stores on boutique space requirements, coordinate with HQ on the design, select contractors, supervise the construction, prepare opening and expenditure reports

· 
Manage maintenance requests

· 
Manage CAPEX and R&M budget

Key Skills

· 
University graduate in marketing/ design management related

· 
3-5 years working experience in luxury retail or equivalent

· 
Strong knowledge and experience in VM production project management – window, façade, pop up set ups.

· 
Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving and decision making.  

· 
Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good sense of luxury aesthetics and retail operations

· 
Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Teams; Design software – Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, literate in Sketchup, Premier cut pro, AUTOCAD.

· 
Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus

· 
Able to multi-task, reliable, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
