MAIN PURPOSE

 

As part of the Marketing, Communications & Client team for the United Arab Emirates, in the role of V.I.E - Business Planning Executive, you will report to the Business Planning & Client Insights Manager. You will participate in the elaboration of the Marketing, Communication, and Client strategic plan. You will support the orchestration of key projects as a transversal player in the organization, monitor and coordinate the Advertising & Promotional budget, and assist with the articulation of strategic action plans and tracking performance.

 

This position requires a strong partnership with all Marketing, Communications & Client departments. The role requires a resourceful and motivated individual, curious, agile, and flexible, with strategic, analytical, and project management skills. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and starts as soon as possible (ideally from January 2026), depending on visa requirements. The position is based in Dubai.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

BUSINESS PLANNING & STRATEGY

 

·  Assist with the overall articulation of the Marketing, Communications & Client Strategic Plan.
·  Assist the Marketing, Communications & Client Director and the Business Planning & Client Insights Manager in developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth. This includes setting clear objectives, identifying key performance indicators, and tracking progress against goals.
·  Support cross-functional 360 projects orchestration, maintaining a strong client-centric mindset and collaborative way of working.
·  Ensure objectives and KPIs are clearly defined and monitored for each activation.
·  Help set up and manage timelines and retro-planning among all teams involved and monitor progress & achievements.
·  Develop a performance mindset within the Marketing, Communications & Client community, ensuring activations’ ROI measurements & takeaways.
·  Support UAE management with strategic presentations and internal communication (yearly strategic plan, presentation for quarterly Market town hall).

 

BUDGET MANAGEMENT & PERFORMANCE

 

·  Follow up on the Advertising & Promotional Budget in terms of allocation, coordination, and tracking, in close collaboration with each department, Finance, Regional, and HQ stakeholders, under the guidance of the Business Planning & Client Insights Manager.

 

MARKET INSIGHT

 

·  Foster a culture of curiosity through competitive intelligence monitoring.
·  Capture market insights (economy, demographics, technology) and identify key/relevant competitors’ insights (product offer, distribution strategy, price positioning, communication strategy, events, key launches, etc.).
·  Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for Cartier to differentiate itself and gain a competitive advantage.

As a Business Planning Executive, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor to a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation. In order to be successful in this role, we expect the following:

 

·  You are graduated from a Master's in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines, and you already have 2 years of professional experience in relevant positions (Business Planning, Strategic Projects, Marketing, etc.), ideally working transversally with all key functions in a market/HQ;
·  Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
·  Proven track record of effectively interacting with peers; effective, versatile, and action-oriented;
·  Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
·  Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong team player, and project management skills combined with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team;
·  Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
·  High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation;
·  Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances; able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in a timely manner;
·  Clear thinker with outstanding numeric ability supported by a rounded commercial awareness;
·  Able to see the big picture but possesses a pragmatic/flexible approach to delivery;
·  Able to articulate complex concepts/projects clearly in a simple and cohesive manner;
·  Curious in nature and always looking to question, learn, and look for better ways to do things;
