Transportation Coordinator

Richemont | Grand Prairie, TX

Reports to: Transportation Manager

 

Role Overview

The Transportation Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting Richemont North America (RNA) by executing transportation solutiions and serving as a key point of contact between internal teams, carriers, and vendors. This role involves managing transportation requests, coordinating special transportation needs, processing freight claims, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, all while providing excellent customer service and contributing to efficient supply chain operations.

 

Responsibilities

Provide support to any entity within RNA in executing transportation solutions as well as interface with carriers and other vendors.

 

·  Manage the group transportation mailbox, providing timely and accurate responses to customer service teams to effectively coordinate transportation needs.
·  Take ownership of organization and scheduling special transportation for non-standard requests such as traveling product shows and boutique openings to meet the needs of the customer.
·  Oversee the freight claims process, including initial filing, gathering supporting documentation, updating the internal SharePoint site, and continued follow-up coordination with carriers until final resolution
·  Provide proof of delivery information to internal departments and collaborate with the operations team to identify root causes of customer routing guide violations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
·  Responsible for filing daily transportation records in accordance with federal regulations and RNA guidelines.

 

Qualifications

 

·  HS diploma required, additional college preferred or 2 years relevant experience
·  Strong customer service focus, problem solving skills, and proven ability to multitask
·  High learning agility
·  PC literate; Advanced user of MS Suite, SAP knowledge is a plus
·  Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
·  Strong collaborator with team members and business partners
·  Ability to work semi-autonomously
·  Strong time management skills
