Job description

MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible for the Technical operation of RCS Mexico Workshop and the main KPI’s associated, Training Talent development & Training for the Region; with the scope on diverse product categories like: Watches, Jewellery.

 

The RCS Senior Manager is the process owner of all related technical aspects of the repair stream flow and training processes, with the main objective to comply with Maisons and Richemont Guidelines, to deliver an outstanding customer experience and develop Watchmaking talent to the LATAM region.

 

Key partner on the Talent development at RCS Mexico Platform program, to ensure Training & knowledge required at the LATAM Region.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key responsibility 1     RCS Workshop Management

 

·  Overseeing and ensure repair operation/ activity for Mexico multi-brand or single brand for Watchmakers / Technicians according to stream flow repair processes to meet Leadtime, Quality and Productivity objectives.
·  Follow up on the key performance indicators established to measure Leadtime, WA Productivity and Quality of Repairs, by monitoring the WIP and provide support on operational balance.
·  Application of brands policies (Leadtime, Sales/repairs warranties, quality conquest)
·  Proper monitoring of Repair Quality at the workshop and associated performance indicators like quality control ok/ko, P&P, comebacks, etc.
·  Proper follow up of equipment and RCS Budget
·  Follow-up external subcontracting repairs for Jewellery and Leather (delivery times and price list)
·  Provide BTQ Watchmakers support by regular visits, monitor operation and follow Brand Policies

 



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Key responsibility 2 Training Development and Program Management

 

·  To manage and implement Watchmaking teaching responsibilities, strategic management, for new students / aprentice for LATAM Region
·  Involved on Student recruitment, talent & candidate evaluation, training material, evaluation exams for the program.
·  Responsible to have all the tools, materials available for classes & training seminars to deliver high quality training.
·  Manage and develop proper training to team of instructors to ensure proper program delivery and objetive fulfillment.
·  Develop and Manage proper training calendar for Watchmaking development acording to Richemont needs (include class schedules, exams, course level, etc.)
·  Liase with other Richemont Departments (HR, IT, Security, Logistics, Finance) to ensure adequate fulfillment of local regulations like; background reviews, training and confidenciality agreement, government accreditation, training certification, among others, to comply as a certified training.

Key responsibility 3     RCS Organizational Projects

EXTRA & Jade Workshops

 

·  Maintain regular visits to EXTRA & JADE Certified Workshops to maintain Brand Policies and Group Guidelines, by assessing Technical information, repair process alignment and comply with Richemont Guidelines
·  Conduct audits once a year at the workshops and provide recommendation and improvement actions according to brands policies and Group Guidelines
·  Recommend training for watchmakers if required and ensure proper update of repair techniques.
·  Conduct documentation of repair activity in a monthly basis to have control of repairs done at the EXTRA / JADE Workshop
·  Become key partner between Maisons, External Workshops and Business partners to detect development opportunities
·  Manage the certification and re-certification process for vendor and external partner watchmakers to ensure that Richemont standards are adhered to (EXTRA & JADE Certification)

Project Management

 

·  Active participation in RCS projects related to improve team productivity, KPI achievement (Leadtime, Quality), align & update operations, among others.

Key responsibility 4    Team Coaching and Management

 

·  Provide adequate lead, support and team motivation by monitoring employee performance, solving issues and actions to improve performance for his team.
·  Define and communicate objectives for all team members, clearly establishing priorities aligned with RCS objectives.
·  Reinforce, support and explain company policies and internal RCS processes.
·  Ensure to have RCS Team Time management related to operations, repairs and main KPI’s of the area
·  Regularly have touch base points with the team in order to ensure: motivation, recognition, feedback and proper alignment of RCS repair processes and KPI’s
·  Ensure to have regular performance monitoring activities to comply with Yearly objetives
·  Assess training needs for his team and plan their career evolution, define, update and coordinate skill matrix to plan proper Technical CS Training based on current and future needs based with the current and / or future team.
·  To control and promote the professional growth of team members.

Education:

·  Watchmaking degree
·  Management degree desired
·  Lean certification / 5S knowledge
·  Mechanical background education

Technical skills:

·  Organization and process oriented (5S, Lean Management)
·  Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. French a plus
·  Capable to manage reporting and presentation reports on: Excel, PowerPoint, SAP
·  Management experience in a fast pace and experience on variable repair volume/ and or luxury environment with proven ability to develop and mentor staff
·  Proven skills to teach technical groups / students

·  Responsible for opening and closing facilities based on a weekly schedule.
