Position: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Ascot House, 22-24 Albion House, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5DZ

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00 –x 2 Saturdays per month

Role Insight

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our busy Service Centre in Maidstone. The position is based within our workshop and you will be responsible for checking watches in and out of the departments for authenticity, condition, functions and timing. You will use a number of different analytical machines to check the mechanical aspects as well as visual checks for the aesthetics. You will need to be able to translate the results onto our system for other departments across the company to access and understand. Quality Control Inspectors assess any improvements made to the watch and whether the previous work has been completed to a high standard and determine whether further improvements could be made.

We are looking for a process-driven individual who has a passion for the world of horology. You will work within strict policies and procedures and support the Servicing department. About you…

·  You’ll have outstanding administration/IT skills, with a keen eye for detail
·  You’re extremely conscientious and strive for a zero error rate
·  You’ll be highly organised and capable of managing your own workload
·  Experience of working with watches would be beneficial but is not essential
·  You’ll have strong communication skills
·  The ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team
·  Ability to retain information
·  Ability to efficiently manage time to hit targets
