Materials Administrator, Richemont, Head Office
Main Purpose
Perform daily tasks within the Materials Department and work on projects through completion for the Customer Service Department, with the ability to cross-train in other departments and assist with tasks in other departments, as needed for the business.
Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
· Participate in the daily process of shipping outbound goods/repairs.
· Responsible for the daily process of receiving inbound goods and/or repairs.
· Direct procurement process from start to finish (receipt & usage in SAP).
· Generate weekly reports to follow up on all repairs waiting for parts, follow up with US spare parts team and update ETAs.
· Generate GIT report daily to follow up on goods in transit to CAS1 platform.
· Process Parts Delay status report from Network support team.
· Provide parts to the workshop to support repair activities.
· Adhere to the continuous production of work based on established guidelines for repair ship dates and/or Managers/Supervisors direction, as well as exceptions related to VIP repairs, must-ships, warranties, etc.
· Place orders for and distribute spare parts/straps to subcontractors and authorized service accounts.
· Sales orders for wholesale accounts and dealers, movement exchanges, reception of inbound deliveries on day of arrival, unless otherwise communicated and approved by Supervisor.
· Place purchase orders for specific articles not stocked at CAS1 to meet the brand(s)’ objectives with consistent follow-up (i.e. straps, buckles, refills, consumables, etc.)
· Maintain an organized, clean, and accurate inventory of CAS1 parts stock.
· Participate in annual inventory cycle count to ensure a full and accurate count of all inventoried items at CAS1.
· Provide assistance on resolving customer service issues as relates to parts availability or parts delay.
· Create and maintain spare part kits for all brands.
· Perform SD (sales & distribution) functions for Materials department activities including invoicing and shipping.
· Process intercompany goods transfers and de-stocking CAS1 inventory.
· Communicate with Canadian dealer and boutique network to provide product information with regard to accessory/strap orders( phone and email inquiries, orders)
· Assist watchmakers with product information as needed.
· Any other customer service or logistics duties pertaining to the operation of our Service Platform as required or warranted.
What about you?
· University or college degree/diploma preferred.
· 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
· Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, and international exports is a requirement
· Proficient at Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Proficient in English, verbal and written
· SAP knowledge is an asset
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities at once
· Consistently maintain a clean and organized workspace in all areas.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in work efforts
