We are looking for an experienced Lawyer with exposure to Retail and Labour Law in Australia to support to the Legal Counsel (Southeast Asia & Oceania) on all legal matters arising in the Oceania sub-region.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
With your proven experience along with your sound understanding of the legal system here in Australia, you will be instrumental in:
· Leading and advising on all legal, compliance and legal corporate affairs matters in Oceania
· Supporting all Maisons that are active in the market
· Contract management
· Negotiating, drafting and reviewing business and legal contracts and documents e.g. leasing, marketing/PR/event, finance, HR-related, etc.
· Template management
· Legal and regulatory compliance advice on business and operational matters, e.g. consumer law, employment law, health & safety, trade compliance, etc.
· Policies, procedures and training
· Support the APAC Legal Team in developing, implementing and training on policies and procedures on relevant legal and compliance topics.
· Providing general legal support to stakeholders
· External counsel management
· Research and legal updates monitoring
· Coordination of Regional / Group Legal projects
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

· Minimum LLB / equivalent degree from a reputable university
· Qualified as a lawyer in Australia, preferably in New South Wales
· At least 5 years PQE
· Commercial / corporate lawyer with prior in-house experience
· Dual qualified in Australia & New Zealand will be considered favourably
· Have a good understanding of business strategies enabling you to establishing strong partnerships with your stakeholders across all levels
· Good exposure with the practices and laws in Australia and New Zealand
· Strong technical and communications skills
· Experience in real estate / employment law / retail / FMCG
· Strong commercial acumen, creative and solutions-oriented
· Behavioural competencies

· Excellent organizational, analytical planning and interpersonal skills
· Strong communicator, strategic thinker
