Head of Security and Health & Safety Benelux & Nordics

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? 

In line with Richemont Europe Physical Security (RLGE - PS) and Health & Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy, objectives, and Group Directives, the Head of Security is responsible for the management, implementation, coordination, and leadership of all security and safety aspects within the designated area. Within this framework, the jobholder manages all Security & HSE processes and actions within Richemont Group for the Benelux and Nordics Market. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

• Physical Security & HSE Strategy: You will develop and implement comprehensive physical security and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs aligned with Richemont Group standards, adapting to local regulations and contexts. This includes risk assessment, incident management, business continuity planning, fraud prevention, and compliance management. You will oversee investigations and corrective actions for security incidents and accidents. You will maintain strong collaboration with Richemont Europe and local stakeholders, providing key security findings to Division Leaders and teams to ensure appropriate business management, optimizing opportunities and mitigating risks. 

• Boutique Security Management: You will ensure all boutiques (existing and new) adhere to Richemont security directives, including robust training programs, regular audits, and security system maintenance. You will lead security planning for new boutiques and renovations, working with vendors and project managers, and overseeing security for boutiques in Benelux & Nordics. 

• Head Office & Warehouse Security: You will maintain security compliance at the head office and RCS platform, implementing localized procedures and training. This includes overseeing security for head office and warehouses in Benelux & Nordics. 

• Event Security Coordination: You will coordinate security for events within the region, ensuring alignment with Group directives and controlling the proper implementation of the security concept. 

• Supplier & Valuables Management: You will manage relationships with external security suppliers, conducting RFPs as needed, and assessing supplier quality through SLAs and KPIs. You will oversee secure transportation of cash and valuables, formalizing and maintaining processes and coordinating with logistics providers. 

• Employee Protection & Executive Security: You will develop and implement security measures for staff, providing risk assessments, preventive measures, and training. This includes defining and producing security measures for staff (local and expatriate) based on risk and context, designing periodic communications, and assessing risks for international and domestic travelers. 

• Incident & Crisis Management: You will apply Group and Regional incident management directives and policies and actively lead the (ENTITY) Incident Management Team and program. You will advise decision-makers on business continuity and other security-related matters. 

• Team Leadership: You will have direct team leadership responsibility for 1 FTE (Operational Security Manager), overseeing security for head office, warehouses, and boutiques in Benelux & Nordics. 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? 

 

• Bachelor's degree or above. 

• Previous professional experience within a similar senior-level security/HSE role within a multinational company. 

• Proven track record in security/HS, with a solid understanding of physical and technical security. 

• Experience with incident/crisis management and project management is essential. 

• Strong business, commercial, and financial acumen. 

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to be assertive yet tactful and diplomatic. 

• Demonstrated ability to drive results, act as a catalyst for change and continuous improvement. 

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. 

• Strong organizational, analytical planning, and interpersonal skills. 

• Multi-dimensional approach to complex problem-solving and ability to quickly assimilate information to derive appropriate solutions. 

• Ability to work across hierarchies and functions in a matrix organization. 

• Energized by tough challenges, with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement. 

• A high degree of integrity, strong work ethic, self-motivated, and independent. 

• Mature, pleasant, and flexible personality. 

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken) are mandatory. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
