Drive the brand narrative of a prestigious Swiss luxury watchmaking Maison across the key communication pillars – Branding, Content, Activation, PR, and social media – working collaboratively within our close-knit company to amplify its international renown and deepen audience engagement.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Head of Communication is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and amplifying the brand's narrative within the luxury watch market. This role develops and executes communication strategies that elevate brand perception, engage discerning audiences, and drive business growth. The role oversees brand identity, content strategy, global campaigns, PR, media, and social media.
BRAND IDENTITY & STORY TELLING:
· Maintain a consistent and elevated brand identity across all channels.
· Craft compelling narratives that showcase the brand's heritage, and craftsmanship.
· Ensure strong partnership with internal & external resources (agencies, product, digital teams & commercial team)
CONTENT & ACTIVATIONS:
· Create 360 toolboxes
· Market coordination and support to ensure cohesive executions, by collecting local insights and feedback for ongoing improvement and relevance of deliverables
· Develop a content strategy that aligns with Maison’s target audience and key messages.
· Pilot the creation of high-quality, engaging and relevant content & assets for all channels.
· Lead the development and execution of integrated global campaigns and activations.
· Ensure consistency within all Maison’s channels (media, ecommerce, CRM, ...)
PR & MEDIA
· Define the global PR & media strategy & provide guidelines to HQ team & markets
SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL
· Define the social media & website communication strategy & supervise the editorial calendar
TEAM LEADERSHIP:
· Manage a team of specialists who are responsible for Press Relations, Influencers, Media, social media, Edition tools & CRM, and supervise workflows inside communication team.
BUDGET:
· Ownership of communication budget allocation and monitoring of all department spending
· Consolodate reports for key learnings
REQUIRED SKILLS
· 7+ experience in a similar role
· Strong understanding of communication strategies, branding, social media, PR and media investments
· Demonstrated success in developing executing large-scale communications projects
· Strong leadership skills to manage and empower a team in an entrepreneurial environment
· You are also known for your creative sense as well as for your good interpersonal skills
· You are fluent French and English
