Cutover Manager

Job description

MAIN PURPOSE

 

The professional will be responsible for one or several initiatives within the scope of Richemont Group tech domain named OS&BF (Operation Services & Business Foundations) as cutover manager.

 

He will define and monitor cutover plans, organize regular status meeting concerning the cutover execution, address issues, and contribute to their resolution.

 

He will be part of OS&BF Program Management Team, and contribute together with the project manager and the program manager to the success of the Initiatives within the Group.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Contribute to the Global initiatives as Cutover Manager

 

·  Creates and executes cutover work plans applying OS&BF cutover methodology and tools.
·  Identifies resources that should contribute to cutover execution and assigns individual responsibilities.
·  Manages day-to-day cutover tracking
·  Prepares for regular project status meeting
·  Identifies and communicates risks
·  Ensures cutover documentation is complete and updated
·  Manages cutover tasks with the objective of respect of deadlines

 

Project execution

 

·  As part of the initiative, identify cutover topics and monitors the creation and execution of cutover tasks
·  Define cutover strategy and highlight responsibilities between OS&BF and Business stakeholders
·  Organizes the Preparation of required Data and corresponding Migration
·  Plan and organize cutover sessions covering the Project Requirements in order to simulate the final production cutover.
·  Ensures the completion of all Deliverables according to OS&BF program Methodology. This explicitly includes our usual cutover Documentation.
·  Acts as a facilitator between Group technology and Business Partners
·  Organizes regular Status Meetings
·  Establishes regular Cutover Reports
·  Communicate difficult/sensitive information to project and program managers
·  Contribute to Change Management plan and help monitoring execution by the Business
·  Timely Escalation of Blocking Project Points to the project Management
·  Complete the cutover plan after go-live and addresses remaining issues
·  Participate to Project Closing and ensures completion of all required Cutover deliverables
·  Contribute to main project decisions regarding key Cutover processes by challenging business requirements and organizing meetings with Project management and decision-makers.
·  Ensure communication of Cutover progression and key decisions to business and Group Tech teams.
·  Ensure coherent integration between different Group Tech domains with help of PAM / Head of and Program management

 

 

REQUIRES SKILLS

 

·  Preliminary training  
·  B.Sc. or MSc in related field
·  Knowledge of at least 1 SAP Module.
·  Experience in Leading as a Cutover Manager one or several ERP projects (ideally SAP). Candidates with a hands-on experience implication in mid-sized organizations and/or projects will be preferred (no pure administrators).    
·  Integration knowledge is required.    
·  Minimum 6-year successful experience in ERP/SAP project implementation as Cutover manager and / or project manager / member.         
·  English is Mandatory.
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
·  Favours teamwork and trustful relationships with other project team members.
·  Ability to work independently, but to understand whenever communication to his peers or superiors in Group Tech or business organization is required.
·  Ability to travel regularly
