Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job description
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within internal production operations. The main goal is to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze internal production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost.
· Lead and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping).
· Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to implement sustainable solutions.
· Monitor and analyze production KPIs, proposing corrective and improvement actions.
· Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, etc.).
· Train and engage personnel on Lean principles and continuous improvement culture.
· Use data analysis tools to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field).
· At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
· Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
· Six Sigma certification is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Google Looker, Power BI) is an advantage.
· Fluent in English
